Five bicycle and pedestrian projects in Maryland set to receive $1.1 million in federal funding will advance several key regional transportation priorities, including expanding travel options, connecting and strengthening Activity Centers, and serving disadvantaged communities. Bicycle and pedestrian projects in Northern Virginia selected for funding

The TPB recently approved eight bicycle and pedestrian projects in Northern Virginia to receive $2.9 million in funding under the federal Surface Transportation Block Grant (STBG) program.
